Donald Trump Is Disqualified From Presidency
The State Supreme Court of Colorado Rules Donald Trump Ineligible for Presidency and Orders Removal from Ballot
The State Supreme Court of Colorado ruled on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump is ineligible for the presidency and should not be included on Colorado’s primary ballot.

The court’s decision, with a stay until January 4 pending further appellate proceedings, hints at a year of electoral unpredictability. The 4-3 ruling determined that Trump is disqualified under section three of the 14th Amendment, which prohibits individuals involved in “insurrection or rebellion” from holding office.
The judges, in a carefully considered statement, emphasized the gravity of their conclusions and acknowledged the weight of the issues at hand. They stressed their commitment to applying the law impartially, without succumbing to public sentiment regarding the decisions dictated by the law.
