PSG Secure 4-1 Victory Over Le Havre in Ligue 1 Opener
Paris St Germain started their Ligue 1 season with a 4-1 win against Le Havre, but an injury to Goncalo Ramos raises concerns. Late goals secured the win for PSG.
Bollywood Fever: Paris St Germain (PSG) kicked off their Ligue 1 season with an impressive 4-1 victory over Le Havre on Friday, taking advantage of a late collapse by the hosts to secure the win. However, the match was marred by a serious injury to Portuguese international Gonçalo Ramos.
PSG wasted no time in taking the lead, with Ramos setting up Lee Kang-in inside the box for a left-footed strike that found the net just three minutes into the game. Unfortunately for PSG, Ramos was injured shortly after, forcing him to be replaced by Randal Kolo Muani.

Le Havre managed to equalize early in the second half, with Gautier Lloris scoring three minutes after the break. Although Josue Casimir thought he had put Le Havre ahead, his goal was disallowed following a VAR review that ruled a handball in the buildup.
With the match heading towards a draw, PSG took full advantage of a defensive lapse by Le Havre in the closing minutes. Ousmane Dembélé headed home in the 85th minute, giving PSG the lead. Bradley Barcola quickly added a third, and Kolo Muani completed the scoring from the penalty spot, sealing a comprehensive victory.
PSG coach Luis Enrique expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance but acknowledged the challenges they faced. “It wasn’t easy at all,” he told reporters. “Maybe we started too calmly. We scored a goal very quickly, and that relaxed us a bit too much.”
However, the injury to Gonçalo Ramos was a significant concern for the team. “I’m not a doctor, but I think it looks like a serious injury. I don’t know how many weeks he will be out,” Luis Enrique said.
While PSG’s strong start to the season is encouraging, the loss of Ramos could have implications for the team in the coming weeks. The win, however, sets a positive tone as PSG aims to defend their Ligue 1 title.
