Acapulco Resort Town Rattled by 5.0 Magnitude Earthquake in Mexico
On Saturday afternoon, Mexico’s national seismological service reported a 5.0 magnitude earthquake striking near the Pacific coast resort town of Acapulco.
Although the earthquake alarm prompted evacuations in Mexico City, Mayor Marti Batres reassured residents via social media X that no damages were reported in the capital.
