Acapulco Resort Town Rattled by 5.0 Magnitude Earthquake in Mexico

On Saturday afternoon, Mexico’s national seismological service reported a 5.0 magnitude earthquake striking near the Pacific coast resort town of Acapulco. 

Although the earthquake alarm prompted evacuations in Mexico City, Mayor Marti Batres reassured residents via social media X that no damages were reported in the capital.

Al parecer, magnitud 5.2 en el epicentro. Por eso sonó la alerta sísmica.
No obstante, prácticamente no se percibió en la Ciudad de México. No se reportan daños.
