Amazon Delivery Driver Caught Trying to Take Customer’s Dog; Fired as a Result
Terrika Currence from Henry County, Georgia, recently discovered her Amazon delivery driver attempting to take her dog from her front yard.
When Currence’s daughter noticed the incident, she quickly called out to save their dog.

Thankfully, Currence managed to retrieve her dog from the back of the driver’s truck. Subsequently, the Amazon driver was terminated from their position.
As Currence was about to enter her home to store her Amazon package, she heard her daughter cry out, “The Amazon guy stole our puppy!”
Startled, Currence dropped her package and hurried to confront the driver.
She then accessed the rear of the driver’s Amazon truck. Upon spotting her dog inside a container, Currence could be heard expressing her shock in a personal recording, “Amazon took my dog from my yard!”
Currence also expressed to the news outlet that had she not intervened at that moment, the driver would have driven off with her dog.
While the dog was safely returned, Currence acknowledged her concern that her daughter might now fear the possibility of their dog being taken by delivery drivers.
Regarding the Amazon delivery driver, they were dismissed from their job following Currence’s complaint. The driver later told Atlanta News First that they intended to take the dog because “the dog was pretty” and they wanted a puppy.
