Fresh off his successful stint as the host of the 75th Primetime Emmys, Anthony Anderson is eager to continue his hosting endeavors. Speaking outside the Peacock Theater in DTLA, he expressed satisfaction with how the Emmys went and revealed his aspirations to take on the hosting duties at the upcoming Academy Awards.
Anthony is optimistic that the Oscars organizers will appreciate his hosting skills, and he enthusiastically welcomes the opportunity to host their prestigious ceremony. Notably, fellow Hollywood comedians, including Colin Jost, Stephen Colbert, and Seth Meyers, all voiced their support for Anthony’s hosting abilities at the Emmys.
In contrast to the positive reception Anthony received, the sentiments differ from some comedians’ reactions to Jo Koy hosting the Golden Globes.
