Around noon, a vehicle struck a man who was on foot in the area. It remains unclear whether the pedestrian was crossing the street at the time of the incident.
The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The driver involved remained at the scene, but it’s unclear if they will face any charges. Traffic investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
