Belichick and Hudson first connected on a flight from the Boston area to Florida in 2021. They bonded over a philosophy project Hudson, a student-athlete and entrepreneur, was working on at the time.
The two exchanged contact information and maintained communication over the following months, discussing Hudson’s school work and cheerleading routines. After Belichick ended his longtime relationship with TV host Linda Holliday, his connection with Hudson quickly deepened.
They kept their relationship discreet initially, with Hudson making secret visits to Gillette Stadium to support Belichick during the 2022 and 2023 Patriots seasons. Their romance became more public when Belichick was seen cheering for Hudson at a cheerleading competition in Maryland earlier this year. Observers noted that he kept a low profile, sitting in the back row and leaving after watching one of the team’s routines.
Belichick and Hudson were also spotted together on a work trip to Croatia and at Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Their relationship is well-known within their inner circles, with New England icon Rob Gronkowski even joking about it during Netflix’s Brady Roast last month.
Hudson has reportedly been assisting Belichick with his business ventures recently. Page Six revealed that Belichick broke up with Holliday last September after a prolonged, back-and-forth breakup lasting nearly a year.
After an emotional farewell to the Patriots, Belichick did not secure another NFL coaching position for the 2024-25 season. Instead, he is set to become a regular on ESPN’s Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli Manning, with potential plans to return to coaching when an opportunity arises.
Belichick spent 23 seasons as the head coach of the New England Patriots, starting his tenure the same year Hudson was born. During his time with the Patriots, he won six Super Bowls with Tom Brady as his quarterback, creating a dynasty unparalleled in professional sports.
