Caitlin Clark Learns of Big3 Offer Through Social Media, Focuses on NCAA Tournament
BollywoodFever, March 30: Caitlin Clark discovered the Big3‘s proposition to join the 3-on-3 men’s basketball league through social media, similar to the public.Â
The league, established by Ice Cube and featuring ex-NBA players, reportedly extended a $5 million offer to the NCAA Division I’s top scorer.Â
However, participating in the Big3 would mean a schedule conflict with the WNBA season, where Clark is anticipated to be the top draft choice for the Indiana Fever.
Clark emphasized her focus remains on basketball, particularly in light of her and her Iowa team’s preparation for their upcoming Sweet 16 match against Colorado. “I found about the Big3 thing at the exact time you all did, and my main focus is just on playing basketball,” Clark shared on Friday. With potential games against LSU or UCLA on the horizon, Clark’s primary goal is to secure a return to the Final Four, especially after Iowa’s loss in the national championship game last year.
Regarding the Big3 offer, Clark maintains a hands-off approach, trusting others to manage such matters. “I honestly don’t talk about those things with really anybody. I have other people that deal with it, and they haven’t said a word to me about it,” she stated, underscoring her commitment to her team’s current objectives.
