Clash of Memes: Sexyy Red and Antonio Brown Spar Over Social Media With Hilarious Jabs
In a playful exchange that quickly captured social media attention, Sexyy Red quipped that Antonio Brown, the former NFL star, might be dealing with brain damage following his critique of her in a meme. This back-and-forth began on Tuesday (March 19) when Brown took to X, previously known as Twitter, to comment on a video of Sexyy Red.
The clip depicted the rapper in her car, enjoying a smoke and dancing to a rock track. Brown’s response was to post a meme showing children holding their noses during a school drill, captioned “Oooo b***h it stank.”
Reacting to Brown’s meme, Sexyy Red soon replied with a meme of her own. She chose an image contrasting a normal brain with one labeled “Advanced CTE,” alongside a simple drawing of a person in a football helmet, noticeably drooling and attempting to fit a square peg into a round hole.
This reference to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a brain condition often resulting from repeated head injuries, was a clever nod to the discussions around football players and CTE, especially given Brown’s own admission last year of potentially suffering from the condition.
