Bollywood Fever: Dakota Johnson made a splash as she kicked off summer with a fun-filled beach day in Malibu. The 34-year-old actress showcased her incredible beach body in a vibrant yellow bikini as she headed to the shore with her pal Jeremy Allen White, his daughters Ezer and Dolores, and another friend.
Johnson, who is the godmother to Ezer and Dolores, put on a breathtaking display as she strolled along the sand. The Fifty Shades of Grey star wore her hair down, embracing the beachy vibes as she frolicked in the surf.
Jeremy Allen White, wearing white swimming trunks, doted on his daughters, whom he shares with ex Addison Timlin. The actress beamed with happiness, enjoying the waves and at one point plunging into the water, emerging with her hair wet.
The beach outing comes amid Dakota’s busy schedule promoting her new film, Daddio, opposite Sean Penn. The film, set for release on June 28, follows an unexpected conversation between a cab driver, played by Sean Penn, and a young woman, played by Dakota, who takes a cab back to her Manhattan apartment after landing at JFK International Airport.
This Malibu escapade also follows news of Dakota’s secret split and reconciliation with Chris Martin. The couple, together since 2017, are reportedly “going strong” despite their busy individual careers. Insiders claim they briefly separated but have since reunited discreetly.
A source told PEOPLE, “They’ve had ups and downs, but now they’re definitely back on.” Martin is currently nearing the end of his Music Of The Spheres Tour with Coldplay, which began in March 2022 and concludes in November with dates in New Zealand.
The low-key power couple was last seen together in February during a romantic trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Rumors of an engagement surfaced in March, with reports suggesting that the Coldplay singer proposed to Dakota “a while ago” with the full blessing of his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their children, Apple and Moses.
“The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles,” a source told The Mirror. “They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable. They are in no rush to plan the wedding but are just enjoying making their commitment official.”
Johnson was also seen wearing an emerald green ring on her wedding finger during her 34th birthday celebration in Los Angeles last October, further fueling engagement rumors.
