With Monday’s numbers included, the duo has slashed their way to $496.3 million worldwide. Once today’s figures are factored in, the Shawn Levy-directed sequel will have surpassed the half-billion milestone.

Monday added another $26.5 million from all overseas markets, representing 13% of the debut weekend. This lifts the international box office cumulative total to $260.5 million through July 29, while the domestic total stands at $235.8 million.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" Set to Surpass $500M Global Box Office Milestone

On Monday, Disney revised its opening weekend total to $444.1 million, up from the $438.3 million estimate reported on Sunday. The adjustment primarily resulted from a stronger-than-expected domestic performance: the studio’s Sunday estimate for North America was $205 million, which increased to $211 million when actuals were calculated on Monday. The offshore launch figure slightly decreased to $233.1 million from $233.3 million.

With Monday’s actuals, the worldwide opening weekend of $444.1 million means that “Deadpool & Wolverine” outperformed 2022’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” ($439 million in like-for-like markets at current rates), achieving the highest global opening weekend since “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in 2021.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” also set a new record for the biggest R-rated opening of all time, both domestically and internationally.

The top 10 offshore markets through Monday are:

  1. China: $27.6 million
  2. UK: $25 million
  3. Mexico: $21.5 million
  4. Australia: $14.1 million
  5. Brazil: $10.8 million
  6. India: $10.6 million
  7. Germany: $10.5 million
  8. France: $10.3 million
  9. Korea: $8.9 million
  10. Italy: $8.5 million

Additionally, as of today, China is estimated to have grossed $30.6 million and Korea $9.4 million, though these figures are not included in the totals above.
