Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has been secretly dating former World No. 3 tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, following her split from Davide Sanclimenti. The couple has been spotted together in Paris, London, and Monte Carlo.
Bollywood Fever: Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has reportedly found new romance with former World No. 3 tennis star Grigor Dimitrov.
The reality star, 29, has been quietly seeing the Bulgarian athlete, 33, after being introduced by mutual friends earlier this summer.
The couple has enjoyed secret meet-ups in London, Paris, and Monte Carlo, where Dimitrov is based.
Dimitrov, who has a history of high-profile relationships, previously dated Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, tennis star Maria Sharapova, and was rumored to have been involved with seven-time Wimbledon champion Serena Williams.
He was most recently linked to Romanian actress and model Madelina Ghenea, from whom he split in April.
Ekin-Su, whose last relationship with Love Island co-star Davide Sanclimenti ended in June last year, has been keen to keep her new romance under wraps.
However, the pair was recently spotted in Paris, where onlookers noted their chemistry and how comfortable they appeared together.
“They were just casually walking together in Paris, taking pictures with fans, and they were so friendly,” one observer told MailOnline. “It’s a coupling you would never have expected walking the streets of Paris.”
Dimitrov has enjoyed a successful tennis career, winning nine ATP tour championships and reaching the semi-finals of Grand Slam tournaments three times.
Despite his high-profile past, it seems Ekin-Su has captured the sportsman’s attention. She has recently been telling friends that she is “very much enjoying single life after previously jumping from one relationship to another.”
In addition to her new romance, Ekin-Su bravely revealed last week that she was a victim of revenge porn, which involved a ‘stalker’ threatening her with intimate photos she had sent to an ex-boyfriend.
The incident occurred just before her appearance on Love Island in 2022, where she eventually emerged as the winner alongside Davide Sanclimenti.
Since her time on the ITV2 show, Ekin-Su has built a successful career, including starring in the US version of The Traitors, which recently earned an Emmy nomination.
Reflecting on her past, she admitted to having been addicted to chasing external validation, leading to toxic relationships and an unhealthy obsession with social media.
As she approaches her 30th birthday, Ekin-Su is focused on self-love and personal growth. Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she shared, “It was a toxic relationship that left a lot of emotional scars, but it’s all about looking forward now, and enjoying life. I wish Davide nothing but happiness.”
Ekin-Su also opened up about her struggles with making friends due to severe bullying as a child, which led her to change her name to ‘Sue’. “My self-worth is ingrained in my work and external validation from others. I have to learn to give myself the love that I seek from other people,” she said. “But I’ve got my sparkle back. I know there’s light at the end of the tunnel, but the light is me, and not in the shape of a man.”
As Ekin-Su continues to navigate life and love, her newfound connection with Dimitrov marks a fresh chapter for the reality star. Whether this relationship will blossom into something more remains to be seen, but for now, Ekin-Su is embracing the joy of living in the moment.
