Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan Announce Pregnancy, Share Joyful Fertility Journey
Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan are excitedly anticipating the arrival of their new baby, adding to their family that includes Jesse’s 15-year-old child, Arlo, from a previous relationship.
The “Too Hot to Handle” celebrity shared the joyful news on Instagram, reflecting on their journey through fertility challenges. “We wanted to take this special day to celebrate this amazing milestone with all of you,” Francesca expressed. “We’ve brought you with us through the loss, so we couldn’t wait to bring you along for the win. I am still pretty newly pregnant, and there’s so much more to come, but we are so excited to be growing our family with Arlo as the coolest older sibling! AHH IM PREGNANT!”
Jesse, who publicly identified as transgender in 2019, also shared the happy update in a TikTok video recapping their IVF process, choosing Transgender Day of Visibility to share their news. “We’re pregnant!” Jesse announced. “It’s been such a struggle to get here, but we felt like TDOV was the perfect day to let you all in on our celebration. I’m so proud of @Francesca Farago for fighting her way to get here, and I fall more in love with her every day. Thank you for following our journey, and here’s to more trans joy!”
The announcement was met with a wave of congratulations, including heartfelt messages from celebrities like Demi Lovato and Chrishell Stause.
This pregnancy news comes on the heels of Francesca and Jesse’s engagement last year, with plans to expand their family already in motion. Jesse discussed their family planning strategy on the “Sofia With an F” podcast in May 2023, revealing plans to create embryos using both of their eggs and the sperm from Arlo’s biological other parent. “It would be twins,” Francesca elaborated. “It would be his egg, my egg, same sperm. That’s the plan.”
Moreover, the couple has decided to delay their wedding until after their baby’s arrival, envisioning a celebration with their child present. Francesca shared this intention with Laverne Cox at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, saying, “We want a huge wedding, but I think it would be so cute if we had a little baby in our arms or two babies in our arms at the wedding. So, hopefully, we can have a baby first and then do the big wedding after.”
