Will Smith‘s security team faced a tense situation recently when an unexpected and unwelcome visitor had to be apprehended at Will’s home until law enforcement could arrive.
According to law enforcement sources, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department responded to two separate calls last Wednesday at the actor’s L.A.-area residence. The first call reported a suspicious individual loitering near Will’s gate and inquiring about someone who did not reside there.
Security personnel requested the man to leave the premises, and he disappeared before deputies arrived. However, he returned shortly afterward, somehow gaining entry onto the grounds.
Will’s security team intercepted and detained the individual before he could reach the house, leading to his arrest by responding officers. The man, identified as 37-year-old Robert Ogden, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge.
Authorities decided not to release Ogden on bail before a court appearance due to concerns that he might attempt to return to the property.
Fortunately, Will was not at home during the incident.
This is the second instance this year involving unwanted visitors at a property linked to the Pinkett-Smith family. In February, two individuals reportedly climbed onto Jada Pinkett-Smith’s balcony while she was home, but she managed to scare them off.
Interestingly, last week’s incident occurred at a different residence. This detail may not be surprising, as it became public knowledge after Jada’s announcement that she and Will had actually separated nearly a decade ago, and they now live apart.
