Income Tax department conducted a massive raid on many celebrities from Sandalwood. One of them includes Vijay, who mounted the film on a huge budget. Others who got hit were Rockline Venkatesh, CR Manohar and famous Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar. The latter’s house was thoroughly searched by the IT officials.
While no official statements have come out from anyone, speculations are rife that a crackdown was in order as there were talks of black money accumulation in the industry. The makers of ‘KGF’ and other celebs are yet to make a statement even names of more Sandalwood celebs are cropping up.
