Kai Cenat’s Bloodborne Marathon Aims to Inspire a Remaster from Playstation
Twitch star Kai Cenat embarks on a Bloodborne marathon to encourage Playstation and FromSoftware to consider a remaster or sequel. Learn about his motivations and viewer reactions.
Bollywood Fever: Twitch star Kai Cenat has revealed his hopes that his Bloodborne marathon will encourage Playstation to start working on a remaster of the game.
The marathon stream, which began on August 2, sees Kai taking on the grueling FromSoftware title Bloodborne. While it’s been nearly ten years since the game’s original release, Kai shared his desire to revive Bloodborne and inspire the development of a sequel or, at the very least, a remaster.

Before beginning his playthrough, Kai explained to viewers the reasoning behind the stream and how it could potentially push Playstation and FromSoftware into action. He admitted he didn’t think he had the “power” to force Playstation or FromSoftware to revisit the game but recognized his significant online influence.
The streamer declared he “definitely” could “bring attention onto a topic within the Souls community,” citing his viral Elden Ring marathon as evidence. This marathon, which took place in May 2024, captivated hundreds of thousands of viewers and ultimately took 166 hours. Following this success, Kai pledged to stream every other FromSoft title, a promise he is evidently keeping.
“The developers have watched my every move when it came to me playing these games,” Kai said, emphasizing his plan to “push the narrative for something to happen.”

Kai called out Playstation and FromSoftware directly, stating: “This is one of the most highly requested games for a remaster and a PC version.”
While he hadn’t yet started the game, the streamer expressed his intention to push for “something” from the get-go as he ‘entered’ the “community” and promised to “talk about it again” after finishing Bloodborne.
Viewers were excited by Kai’s call to action, noting that “any pressure” on Playstation and FromSoftware to return to Bloodborne was a “huge help.” They also praised his “genuine” approach and “love” for the games: “It’s so, damn, refreshing to see someone have so much fun, but real fun. Not forced. Not performative. Dude is having a party, and we’re all invited.”
With his Bloodborne marathon, Kai Cenat aims to leverage his influence to bring back a beloved game and potentially inspire future developments from Playstation and FromSoftware.
