Kourtney Kardashian Opens Up About Post-Birth Struggles While Balancing Work and Motherhood
Kourtney Kardashian is opening up about her emotional struggles following the birth of her son, revealing that despite having Rocky with her, she felt out of place at work.
The reality TV star took to Instagram on Saturday, sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos from a day shooting promotional materials for the upcoming season of “The Kardashians.”
The images and clips mostly show Kourtney in front of a green screen, receiving direction from the crew. One shot focuses on the tight bodysuit she wore during the shoot.
Kourtney revealed that the shoot took place just three months after giving birth to her baby boy, who was born on November 1 of the previous year. She admitted that she didn’t feel ready for such a big shoot yet, but had to power through it.
Despite Rocky being on set with her, Kourtney said his presence didn’t ease her stresses. She explained that it’s a stark contrast to go from cuddling at home to putting on makeup, heels, and posing for the camera.
However, Kourtney is trying to change her mindset. She emphasized how fortunate she feels to be able to participate in incredible shoots with her family and to have Rocky with her wherever she goes.
Kourtney has been very candid about her experiences as a new mother again. Just last month, she clapped back at an online troll who criticized her appearance in a beach photo with her sisters. She also revealed that she drinks her breast milk.
Clearly, Kourtney is not holding back when it comes to discussing motherhood, and it’s likely she will continue to share her experiences when “The Kardashians” returns later this month.
