In a heartfelt statement, his agent expressed sorrow over Culver’s passing: “We are very sad to confirm the passing of our friend and client Michael Culver. With a career that spanned over 50 years, he had notable roles in Sherlock Holmes, A Passage to India, Secret Army, and one of the most unforgettable death scenes in the Star Wars saga.”

In the early 2000s, Culver shifted his focus from acting to dedicate himself to political activism. “Representing Michael for the last decade has been an honor, and bringing him to some of the premier Star Wars events across the UK and Europe was a joy,” the statement continued.
