Nicole Eggert from ‘Baywatch’ Not Part of Reboot, Yet Open to a Possible Role!
Bollywoodfever, March 5: Nicole Eggert, famous for her role as Summer Quinn on “Baywatch” in the 90s, mentioned to TMZ that she has not been approached for the series’ new reboot.
However, she’s open to participating if the opportunity arises. Although she won’t be reprising her lifeguard role in the iconic red swimsuit, Eggert is interested in making a cameo or playing a more mature character, like a parent or a senior lifeguard with a desk job.

The reboot, still in its nascent stages under Freemantle and FOX, has not yet announced its cast. Eggert expressed her hope to see Margot Robbie join the reboot’s cast. Brande Roderick, another “Baywatch” alumna, also revealed she has not been officially asked to join the reboot but has informed executive producer Michael Berk of her interest in taking on a role, possibly as a character’s mother.
Roderick is optimistic that the original cast may have cameo opportunities, given the show’s revival and Berk’s involvement, who wrote for the original series. The announcement of the reboot has sparked a reunion among the original cast members, with both Eggert and Roderick expressing excitement over the show’s return and its appeal to newer generations. They both enjoyed the 2017 “Baywatch” movie adaptation, viewing it as a successful reinterpretation of the original series.
Currently, Eggert is concentrating on her fight against cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, remaining positive and determined to continue enjoying life. She emphasized that her health challenges would not deter her from potentially returning to a “Baywatch” set if given the chance.
