Ozzy Osbourne expresses his frustration with Britney Spears’ Instagram dancing videos, calling them “sad” and “heartbreaking.” The Osbournes discuss Spears’ social media presence on their podcast.
Bollywood Fever: Ozzy Osbourne has shared his thoughts on Britney Spears’ frequent Instagram videos, expressing his concern and frustration with the singer’s social media content. During a recent episode of “The Osbournes” podcast titled “Are the Osbournes Leaving Hollywood?”, the legendary rocker, along with his wife Sharon and their children Jack and Kelly, discussed Spears’ online presence.
The “Crazy Train” hitmaker didn’t hold back his feelings, telling his family that he’s “fed up” with seeing the “poor old” singer’s videos. Sharon clarified that Ozzy was specifically referring to Spears’ dancing content, to which he added, “Every f—king day.”
Kelly Osbourne expressed her sympathy, saying, “I feel sorry for her,” while Ozzy, 75, reiterated, “You know it’s sad, very, very sad.” Sharon and Jack echoed the sentiment, with Sharon calling Spears a “poor little thing” and Jack agreeing that it was “very sad indeed.”
The Osbournes’ comments come shortly after Spears shared a throwback clip of herself dancing to Madonna’s “I’m Addicted” on Instagram. This video was posted soon after Spears declared she was “single as f—k” following her breakup with ex-boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz.
Spears has been known for sharing numerous dancing and risqué videos over the years, which have sparked concern among her fans and her children. Her social media activity has been particularly scrutinized following her public conservatorship battle and divorce from Sam Asghari.
In September, Spears shocked fans by posting a video of herself dancing with a pair of butcher knives. Despite her claim that the knives were fake, the video raised alarms. “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ !!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon 🙈🙈🙈 !!!” she wrote.
Spears also shared a video of herself in lingerie and heels dancing to Peggy Lee’s 1958 hit “Fever” shortly after it was revealed that her father, Jamie Spears, had undergone a leg amputation procedure last December.
Despite the controversy, Spears has defended her dancing videos, calling them a form of therapy. However, the concern from the Osbourne family highlights the ongoing worries about the pop star’s well-being.
As Spears continues to navigate her post-conservatorship life, her social media presence remains a topic of discussion and concern among fans and fellow celebrities alike. The Osbournes’ candid discussion underscores the complex and often troubling nature of fame and personal expression in the digital age.
