During a recent encounter at LAX on Wednesday, Padma shared that while she modeled to pay off student loans, her 14-year-old daughter isn’t in the same financial position and doesn’t need to follow in her footsteps.
Padma mentioned that she’s already declining modeling offers for Krishna, stating, “if Krishna ends up on a magazine cover, it’ll be for her talent, not just her looks!” She emphasized the importance of nurturing Krishna’s intellect, creativity, and talent.
Currently, Krishna is preparing to pursue her musical dreams at a performing arts school, which she was accepted into based on her own merit. Padma envisions a unique journey for her daughter, focusing on her academic and artistic development.
Padma also hinted that Krishna will eventually support herself but, for now, at age 14, she’s happy to back her daughter’s dreams as long as she remains dedicated to her studies.
