Trivia
Saif Ali Khan was unhappy with the film and called it “plastic” and “fake”.
Aamir Khan was offered the negative role in the film but declined due to him not having time since he was filming Dhoom 3 (2013) and also because he thought the script was “ridiculous”.
John Abraham returned to a negative role after a long time – he played a villain earlier in Aetbaar, Dhoom, Zinda.
Shah Rukh Khan was offered to play a negative role in Race 3 but the actor refused, because he is not in a mood to play a baddie again.
Sanjay Dutt was the original choice for Aditya Pancholi’s role.
Mallika Sherawat and Chitrangda Singh were considered for Ameesha Patel‘s role.
