Scheana Shay Suggests Orgy with John Mayer: “My Body Was a Wonderland”
BollywoodFever, March 20: Scheana Shay sparked speculation about a past intimate encounter with John Mayer during a recent episode of “Vanderpump Rules.”
During a confessional segment, as the cast engaged in a game of “Never Have I Ever,” Shay disclosed a tantalizing detail from her past when pressed by a producer about her experience with an orgy, which she hinted at during the game.
She mentioned it involved “an A-list celebrity” without naming anyone explicitly. However, she dropped a significant hint by saying, “Once upon a time, my body was a wonderland, I’ll say that,” alluding to Mayer’s famous 2001 track, “Your Body Is a Wonderland.” Mayer himself has said the song was inspired by his high school girlfriend and was written at the age of 21.
This revelation isn’t Shay’s first mention of her rumored past with Mayer. She opened up about her interactions with Mayer and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston at a 2020 episode of the “Flashbacks” podcast.
Shay recounted how she met the couple at a party, leading to a night of shared drinks and a missed afterparty due to her being too drunk. However, she claimed that Mayer remembered her, leading to them seeing each other after his split from Aniston.
Shay described a period where she, Mayer, and a friend formed a “little throuple,” which lasted about six months. She admitted to feeling jealous towards the end of their interactions, which continued between Mayer and her friend even after Shay and Mayer stopped seeing each other.
As Mayer continues his search for love, Shay has since found happiness with Brock Davies, marrying him in 2021. In a twist during the same “Vanderpump Rules” episode, Davies revealed his proximity to an orgy during a game of “Never Have I Ever” at Ariana Madix’s house, leading to a surprised reaction from Shay. Davies clarified, “I wasn’t involved! I was in a room and there was other things going on, but there was definitely more bodies.”
