This movie was a flop and because of the big ensemble of production (Ghai, A.R Rahman, Kapoor, Khanna, Aish), many reported the contrary. This movie was neither a semi-hit. It was a flop in India. At that time, Ghai lost his movie making touch. Due to big names in the movie, movie reporters had to up the reports to make it sound as if the movie performed tremendously. Even the award shows had to give this production awards just to compensate and give a boost to silent negativities about the movie. Unfortunately, this is how it works in India. When biggies are involved, many work hard to silence the critics and give fake numbers to hide facts.
