Law enforcement sources report that the security guard encountered three males wearing hoodies and masks who had trespassed onto the $12 million property. Despite the property boasting a “state-of-the-art security system,” the guard engaged the suspects and was shot multiple times during the confrontation.

The injured guard was quickly taken to a hospital and is currently in critical condition. Thankfully, Cash XO was unharmed in the incident.

Sources close to the situation indicate that the shooting was the result of an attempted home invasion. The suspects fled before the police arrived, and it’s unclear if they sustained any injuries during the incident.

Cash XO, who co-founded XO Records with The Weeknd and Wassim “Sal” Slaiby in 2011, has seen significant success in the industry. The police are currently investigating the incident.
