Angel Reese, forward for the Louisiana State University Tigers, was selected as the number seven pick by the Chicago Sky at the WNBA Draft in New York on Monday. For this significant event, Reese chose to wear a stunning piece from Bronx and Banco’s Fall 2024 collection—the Amalia gown, which featured a cowl neck, an open back, and a dramatic train, making a bold fashion statement.

The designer behind Bronx and Banco, Natalie De Banco, shared with WWD during a February showroom visit that her designs are inspired by her celebrity clients. She often asks them, “How do you want to feel?” presenting them with the choice between glamorous and colorful or bold and black. Reese seamlessly blended these styles with her choice.

To elevate her outfit further, Reese sported 3D-embellished floral nails created by celebrity manicurist Angie Aguirre, known for her work with stars like Janelle Monáe and Sha’Carri Richardson. Reese’s look was completed with a dazzling mouth grill, adding an extra touch of sparkle to her draft day ensemble.
