Britney Spears’ Sons Plan Reunion with Grandfather Jamie Spears After Years Apart
Britney Spears’ teenage sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, are planning a visit to their grandfather Jamie Spears in Louisiana, marking their first reunion in years. Read on for more details about the family dynamics and their upcoming trip.
Bollywood Fever: Britney Spears may not be interested in reconnecting with her father, Jamie Spears, but her teenage sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, are planning to visit their grandfather after years of separation.
Sources with direct knowledge informed TMZ that Britney and Kevin Federline’s sons have recently discussed traveling to Louisiana to see their grandfather. The boys frequently stay in touch with Jamie, having phone calls with him at least every two weeks, but it has been years since they have seen him in person.

In addition to visiting Jamie, the boys also want to see other relatives in Louisiana. These plans are still in the early stages, and there is no set timetable for the trip.
Jamie had a strained relationship with Kevin, Sean Preston, and Jayden in the past, especially after a troubling incident in 2019 led to Jamie being hit with a restraining order. However, sources say that Kevin and Jamie now have a good relationship and both want what is best for the boys.
Kevin Federline and the boys reached out to Jamie in 2023 after learning about his serious medical issues, which included a massive infection that led to the amputation of his leg.

It’s unclear whether Britney is aware of her sons’ plans. The visit might not sit well with her, given her vocal estrangement from Jamie. After Britney’s public breakdown in 2007, Jamie took control of her life as her conservator, a role that lasted around 13 years before ending in November 2021.
Britney has been very critical of her father’s handling of the conservatorship, accusing him of abuse and mistreatment. Their legal battle ended with a settlement where Jamie did not pay Britney, but she covered his $2 million legal bill.
