Cardi B Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Song Theft for “Enough (Miami)”
Oklahoma rapper Sten Joddi and producer Kemika1956 sue Cardi B, claiming her hit “Enough (Miami)” steals elements from their 2021 song “Greasy Frybread.”
Bollywood Fever: Cardi B is in hot water over her hit single “Enough (Miami),” which scored a top 10 spot in March. An Oklahoma rapper and his producer are claiming that Cardi and her production team stole elements from their 2021 song “Greasy Frybread.”
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Joshua Fraustro, known as Sten Joddi, and Miguel Aguilar, known as Kemika1956, allege that Cardi B and her producers used portions of their song without permission. Fraustro and Kemika1956 released “Greasy Frybread” in November 2021, and it was featured in a promo for the FX series “Reservation Dogs.”

The lawsuit names Cardi B’s record labels, Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group, as well as producers OG Parker and DJ SwanQo, as co-defendants. “Enough (Miami)” was released on March 15, 2024, nearly three years after “Greasy Frybread.”
Cardi B has not yet announced a release date for her new album, and it remains unclear if this lawsuit will delay or impact the tracklist. Fans and industry insiders will be watching closely to see how this legal battle unfolds and whether it will affect Cardi’s upcoming album release.
