Josh Hartnett Reflects on Magical Night at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with Daughters
Bollywood Fever: Josh Hartnett fondly recalls his unforgettable night at Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour in London with two of his daughters. The 46-year-old actor, who keeps his family life private, shared his experience while speaking to ET at the premiere of his new film, Trap, on Wednesday.
“I went to one about three or four weeks ago with my kids. It was great,” Hartnett gushed about the concert. He described the event as an ideal introduction to live music for his daughters. “I’ve never experienced anything like it: 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium losing their minds, including my two daughters. And people were so respectful, my daughters were given so many bracelets, and everything was really sweet.“

Earlier this month, Hartnett also spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the Eras Tour, describing it as a “good event for my daughters’ first concert.” He marveled at the electrifying atmosphere and the kindness of the fans.
Hartnett, who shares four children with his wife of three years, Tamsin Egerton, has not publicly revealed their names and ages. However, his excitement about the concert highlights his dedication to creating special memories with his family.
Hartnett’s new movie, Trap, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, tells the story of a man and his teenage daughter who find themselves in a dark and sinister situation while watching a concert. Hartnett admitted that witnessing the frenzy at Taylor Swift’s concert helped him understand the intensity Shyamalan wanted to portray in the film.
“I’d never been to [an Eras Tour show] before we shot the film, so I thought that what M. Night was directing the kids to do was a little over the top,” Hartnett told ET. “It’s not. No, kids lose their mind — absolutely lost their minds.“
As for what fans can expect from the psychological thriller, Hartnett teased, “M. Night has done such a great job of taking genres that we think we understand and twisting them on their side and coming at them at a new angle.”
He described Trap as a “throwback style ’90s thriller” viewed from the antagonist’s perspective. Hartnett enjoyed the challenge of playing such a complex character, stating, “It’s more fun to always switch roles and try different things all the time. I’m always trying to subvert people’s expectations with the work that I’m doing. Hopefully, this will surprise you.”
With his reflections on the Eras Tour and insights into his new film, Josh Hartnett continues to captivate audiences both on and off the screen.
