Katie Price Faces Backlash for Poolside Recovery Post-Facelift Amid Legal Troubles
Katie Price, recovering from her sixth facelift, sparks controversy by lounging poolside in Turkey, drawing criticism for her open wounds. The star also faces legal issues upon her return to the UK.
Bollywood Fever: After undergoing a $20,000 facelift, most people would retreat into quiet recovery, but if you’re Katie Price, you opt for some poolside relaxation in a string bikini.
The 46-year-old British TV personality and model was recently spotted at the five-star Sheraton Ataköy hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, where she has been recuperating from her sixth facelift.
Despite still having surgical tape and visible wounds on her face, Price chose to spend her recovery time poolside, proudly sharing her journey with her Instagram followers.
“My natural hair growing, My eyelashes. Natural face healing well,” she captioned a selfie on Instagram Stories, documenting her post-surgery progress.
However, Price’s presence at the luxury hotel didn’t sit well with some fellow guests, who felt uneasy seeing her so soon after surgery.
Her minimal blue bikini, which barely covered her 17th breast enhancement from last year, only added to their discomfort.
One guest took to TripAdvisor to voice their concerns, writing, “Who wants to relax and dine at a hotel looking at someone with blood all over their face, staples holding their scalp on and incisions weeping with pus.”
The reviewer further criticized the hotel for allowing Price to use the swimming pool, stating, “I’m not sure this hotel should be used as a recovery facility for plastic surgery.”
Unfortunately for Price, the controversy didn’t end there. Upon her return to the UK, she was arrested at Heathrow Airport for failing to attend a court hearing related to her bankruptcies.
Price was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again in March this year over an unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000 ($1.4 million). She was bailed hours after being detained.
It seems that even after a major surgery and a luxurious stay in Turkey, Price’s troubles are far from over.
