Tracy Wolfson Uses Ladder for Interviews with 7-Foot-4 Zach Edey
CBS Sports sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, who stands at 5-foot-2, encountered a unique challenge when interviewing Purdue’s 7-foot-4 center Zach Edey due to their significant height difference.
Wolfson adapted by using a ladder for her subsequent postgame interviews. “That is right, Ian [Eagle], you said I needed a ladder, I got myself a ladder,” Wolfson remarked, referencing a suggestion from her colleague.

In an earlier encounter with Edey on the court, the disparity in their heights led to an unusual interview setup, with only Wolfson’s microphone visible in the camera’s view as it focused on Edey.
Analyst Ian Eagle humorously commented on the situation, saying, “Tracy, we just ordered you a ladder.”
