The New York Jets dropped their third straight game after losing 23-20 to the Buffalo Bills in a penalty-filled matchup. Aaron Rodgers’ last-minute interception sealed the loss.
NFL News, BollywoodFever: Any post-Robert Saleh improvement will have to wait for the New York Jets, as they suffered a third straight loss on Monday in an ugly game against the Buffalo Bills.Â
Despite hopes for a bounce-back under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich, the Jets fell 23-20 at MetLife Stadium, dropping their record to 2-4 overall and 0-1 since firing Saleh.
The game was riddled with mistakes on both sides, highlighted by 22 accepted penalties for 204 yards.
While the Bills snapped their own two-game losing streak and improved to 4-2, the Jets once again found themselves plagued by missed kicks and costly errors.

Josh Allen and the Bills capitalized on New York’s missteps, with Allen’s final drive running out the clock after Taron Johnson intercepted Aaron Rodgers’ underthrown pass intended for Mike Williams.
All eyes were on how the Jets would perform under Ulbrich and with Todd Downing calling plays in place of offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
Unfortunately for New York, the early struggles continued. Despite a quick start with Garrett Wilson scoring a touchdown on their second possession, the Jets couldn’t maintain momentum.
Meanwhile, Allen threw three touchdowns in the first half, leading Buffalo to a comfortable lead.
Rodgers, known for his game-changing moments, shifted the momentum just before halftime with a Hail Mary touchdown pass to Allen Lazard, cutting the deficit to three points.
However, despite controlling much of the third quarter, the Jets only managed to tie the game with a field goal after a holding penalty erased a touchdown, and Greg Zuerlein missed a chip-shot field goal.
Zuerlein’s kicking woes continued in the fourth quarter when he missed another potential go-ahead field goal.
On the other side, Tyler Bass also struggled, missing both an extra point and a field goal. However, Bass redeemed himself by nailing the game-winning field goal with less than four minutes remaining.
Rodgers had one final opportunity to lead the Jets to victory, but his intercepted pass sealed the team’s fate.
The Jets, now reeling from three straight losses, will hit the road next week to face the Pittsburgh Steelers as they try to salvage their season.
