Trump Slams ‘Wacko’ Robert De Niro Over Biden Campaign Appearance
United States: Donald Trump criticized Robert De Niro on Wednesday, referring to him as a “wacko” and mocking his appearance at a Biden campaign press conference outside the Manhattan courthouse where Trump is being tried.
“I never knew how small, both mentally and physically, Wacko Former Actor Robert De Niro was,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.

“Today, De Niro, who suffers from an incurable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, commonly known in the medical community as TDS, was met, outside the Courthouse, with a force far greater than the Radical Left – MAGA,” Trump continued.
“Robert, whose movies, artistry, and brand have gone WAY DOWN IN VALUE since he entered the political arena at the request of Crooked Joe Biden, looked so pathetic and sad out there. Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio!!!” he added.

De Niro, 80, spoke at the surprise Biden campaign press conference on Tuesday afternoon while Trump’s defense team made its closing arguments in his hush money trial.
“I don’t mean to scare you. No, wait, maybe I do mean to scare you,” De Niro said. “If Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms goodbye that we all take for granted.

“And elections. Forget about it. That’s over. That’s done. If he gets in. I can tell you right now. He will never leave. He will never leave. You know that. He will never leave.”
During the press conference, De Niro called Trump, 77, a “clown,” a “grubby real estate hustler,” and a “tyrant.” However, the event turned chaotic when supporters of the former president attempted to drown out De Niro with anti-Biden and anti-De Niro chants.
“You’re a f–king idiot,” De Niro shouted at one protester who accused him of being a “paid actor for the DNC” and suggested he had unsavory ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Following the incident, Trump 2024 national press secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized “actors like Robert De Niro,” stating they have “no idea the real problems that people in this city and across this country are facing.”
