Bollywood Fever: An enraged woman, furious over missing her Frontier Airlines flight, hurled a computer at staff during a departure hall brawl at Chicago O’Hare airport last week. The incident, captured by a bystander, has since gone viral, with netizens quickly dubbing the woman a ‘Karen.’
The altercation began when the woman missed her flight and became violent with the Frontier Airlines front desk staff. Footage shows her hopping over the luggage scale to confront a group of employees. She threw punches at one employee before another stepped in to protect his colleagues.
At one point, a Frontier employee picked up a blue bin, typically used for security scanning, seemingly intending to throw it at the woman, but two coworkers held him back. During the chaos, the woman grabbed a computer from behind the counter and threw it at the employee who had intervened. She then slammed the monitor face down onto the desk before returning to the front of the check-in counter.
The incident was filmed and posted on TikTok by user Cinn (@cindyhalasova), but the video was removed for ‘violent and graphic content.’ In the comments of a newly posted TikTok, Cinn revealed more details about the incident, explaining that the woman was late to her flight and took out her frustration on the Frontier Airlines employees.
This shocking incident highlights the escalating tensions at airports and the extreme reactions some passengers have when faced with travel disruptions.
