Shah stated this at an election rally in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, where he highlighted that Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Akhilesh Yadav did not attend the Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, fearing it might alienate their vote bank.

Shah emphasized that this election is about ending terrorism and Maoist extremism, aiming to make India the third-largest economy globally.

He also targeted the Samajwadi Party, an INDIA bloc partner, accusing it of dynastic politics. Akhilesh Yadav, the party’s president, has fielded five family members in the current election.

.While Akhilesh Yadav is contesting from Kannauj and his wife Dimple Yadav from Mainpuri, Akshay Yadav, Aditya Yadav, and Dharmendra Yadav—all family members—are candidates from Firozabad, Budaun, and Azamgarh, respectively.
