Amouranth Pursues Legal Action Against Mall for Unauthorized Sale of Adult Toys Featuring Her Likeness
Prominent Twitch streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa expressed shock when a follower sent her a counterfeit version of her own adult toy, purchased from a mall store.Â
Amouranth, known for her diverse business ventures, including investments in gas stations, cutting-edge role-playing AIs, and a unique beer crafted from her own yeast, expanded into the adult toy market last year.Â
Despite the success, imitations surfaced, leading to an unpleasant discovery during her January 10 live broadcast as she unwrapped a package from a viewer.
Upon unwrapping the package and discovering the adult toy, Amouranth couldn’t conceal her dissatisfaction during the live stream. The boxed toy prominently displayed Siragusa’s name and image, but it diverged from the one officially available on her website.
In a letter accompanying the gift, the fan expressed concern, stating, “I saw these new toys at the mall, and I hope it’s not a knockoff since I never saw you talk about it. If these are not approved by you, I’m sorry for buying one and I’ll never use it again.”
Indignant, she responded, “What the f**?! No, I did not approve it!” The popular streamer went on to describe the situation as “disgusting,” emphasizing her displeasure with an actual store selling the unauthorized replica.
