Antonio Brown is seeking to mend fences with Caitlin Clark, offering a sincere message to the WNBA star with the aim of moving past their previous dispute.
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver sparked a feud with the basketball player through some inappropriate posts on X last month, leading the Indiana Fever point guard to block him on the platform.
During an appearance on “Fearless with Jason Whitlock” on Tuesday, AB tried to extend an olive branch, explaining that his previous actions were meant in jest. “We love you,” he expressed on the show, emphasizing that there is no lingering drama.
Brown went on to heap praise on Clark, expressing his excitement for her future in women’s basketball. He commended her skills on the court, noting that her game brings a great deal of excitement and energy.
Antonio Brown also expressed interest in sitting down with Clark for a potential interview, believing it could benefit her exposure. He revealed that his daughter looks up to Clark as well.
While there has been no response from Clark yet, Brown’s heartfelt message was somewhat undercut by a crass joke, suggesting that a response may not be imminent.
