The Arizona Cardinals have signed center Hjalte Froholdt to a two-year extension worth $12 million, with $8 million guaranteed. The deal keeps him with the team through 2026.
Bollywood Fever: The Arizona Cardinals announced on Wednesday that they have signed center Hjalte Froholdt to a two-year contract extension.
While the specific terms of the deal were not disclosed, NFL Network reports that the extension is valued at $12 million, with $8 million guaranteed, securing Froholdt’s place on the team through 2026.

Froholdt, who just turned 28 on Tuesday, was a key player for the Cardinals in 2023, starting all 17 games and participating in 99 percent of the offensive snaps during his first season with the team.
Originally from Denmark, Froholdt was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft after playing college football at Arkansas.
He appeared in eight games for the Patriots in 2020 and later played 23 games, including six starts, with the Cleveland Browns from 2021 to 2022 before joining the Cardinals.
Froholdt’s extension reflects the Cardinals’ confidence in his abilities and their commitment to maintaining stability on their offensive line.
