Billie Eilish Reveals a Dream Involving Christian Bale Prompted Her Decision to End Relationship with Boyfriend
Bollywoodfever, March 2: Billie Eilish recently shared a revealing anecdote about a dream involving Christian Bale that led her to the realization she needed to end her relationship with her then-boyfriend.
During a conversation with Amelia Dimoldenberg at an Oscars Nominees ‘Pre-Luncheon’ event, alongside her brother and musical collaborator Finneas O’Connell, Eilish delved into the impactful dream.
The discussion initially veered towards their 2016 breakthrough track “Ocean Eyes” and whether it was inspired by actor Cillian Murphy, to which O’Connell humorously admitted his admiration for Murphy, particularly highlighting his performance in “Dunkirk.”
Eilish then steered the conversation towards her affinity for the film “The Dark Knight,” revealing her limited knowledge of superheroes but her specific admiration for the 2008 movie.
This segue led her to disclose a personal revelation stemming from a dream about Christian Bale, which occurred a few years prior.
She described the dream as a pivotal moment that made her realize the necessity of breaking up with her boyfriend at the time.
Eilish’s candid revelation prompted laughter from O’Connell and a stunned reaction from Dimoldenberg.
Eilish, who refrained from mentioning the specific ex-boyfriend in question, has been linked in the past to Jesse Rutherford, the lead singer of The Neighbourhood, though reports suggest they parted ways last year.
Currently, Eilish and O’Connell are contenders for the Best Original Song at the 96th Academy Awards for their contribution to the Barbie soundtrack with the song “What Was I Made For?” They are also scheduled to perform at the award ceremony on March 10.
