Christian Dumontet, the husband of ‘Selling Sunset’ star Christine Quinn, has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, and seeks sole custody of their child amidst recent legal battles and restraining order filings.

Christine Quinn‘s husband, Christian Dumontet, has initiated divorce proceedings, marking the end of a period of instability that saw him arrested and both parties seeking temporary restraining orders (TROs).

The “Selling Sunset” personality’s soon-to-be ex-husband filed for divorce, potentially beating Christine to the punch as she too has been contemplating ending the marriage.

The legal documents, which TMZ accessed, reveal that Christian cites irreconcilable differences as the basis for the divorce. He is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their child but indicates willingness for Christine to have visitation rights.

In terms of financial arrangements, Christian is not seeking spousal support and requests the court to prevent Christine from seeking such support from him. The filing does not mention a prenuptial agreement.

Christian’s filing seeks judicial assistance in dividing their assets and properties, asserting that earnings made post-separation should be recognized as his individually. He has yet to specify a date of separation.

This divorce filing doesn’t come as a surprise, given the recent strife between Christian and Christine. Notably, Christian was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon after a heated altercation at their home, where Christine claimed he aimed a bag containing glass at her but instead hit their child. Christian has refuted these allegations.

Both parties have filed for restraining orders amid accusations of misconduct, with Christine’s dogs being a point of contention according to Christian. While his restraining order request was denied, Christine’s was partially approved, awaiting further court evaluation.

Adding to the complexity, Christian disclosed that they legally married in 2021, contrary to public belief that they wed in 2019—a revelation suggesting their televised wedding may have been staged. This claim implies the actual legal commitment occurred later than the event depicted on “Selling Sunset” Season 3.
