Comedian Blake Pavey has implemented a new policy prohibiting anyone aged 85 and older from attending his performances, and he’s received support from a comedic icon, George Wallace.
When we spoke to Wallace at LAX on Wednesday, he expressed his full backing for the Australian comedian’s controversial rule. Speaking directly to Pavey, Wallace mentioned that he understood the decision to exclude older attendees, suggesting it might even be a publicity stunt, as he suspects.

Wallace commented that age ultimately doesn’t matter and predicted that Pavey might reconsider his “silver ban” if an elderly fan were to offer $100 for a ticket.
Money, after all, speaks volumes, regardless of age!
Recently, Blake shared a video on his TikTok showing an older man disrupting his opening act and hurling insults at Pavey himself. In response, Blake announced that individuals over the age of 85 are no longer welcome at his performances.
Wallace not only supported Blake’s stance but also criticized the elderly heckler, advising him to stay quiet and refrain from interrupting the performance next time.
Pavey is known for maintaining a lively interaction with his audience, often making sharp-witted jokes at their expense, yet keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable.
For what it’s worth, George, who is actually 71 years old—though he playfully claims to be 86—remains free to enjoy Blake’s shows whenever he wishes.
