Couple Charged with Sex Crimes Involving Child Pornography and Bestiality After Disturbing Discovery
A couple, Joely, aged 53, and William Mitchell Keen, 52, have been charged with sex crimes, including possession of child pornography and bestiality, following a police investigation.
The investigation began when Mitchell Keen was arrested on March 27, after incriminating photos and videos were found on his phone.
Among the disturbing content was a video showing Joely engaging in sexual acts with their Great Dane.
The discovery was made after Mitchell’s phone was seized following his earlier arrest on March 13 for indecent exposure at a supermarket in Spring, a suburb of Houston, where he was observed masturbating near children.
Further inquiries resulted in additional charges against Mitchell, including indecency with a child by exposure, prompted by the initial incident and subsequent findings on his phone.
The couple’s residence was subsequently searched by police, leading to their arrest and the safeguarding of their two children, ages 18 and 10, along with three dogs.
Mitchell, a former US Navy sailor, and Joely, who was a nurse at Total Men’s Primary Care until her recent dismissal, face severe legal consequences.
Joely is charged with bestiality, while Mitchell faces charges for possessing child pornography.
Following their arrest, both were released on bail but did not immediately return to their home, which was noted for a truck with a “Wildlife Rescue and Relocation” sticker parked in the driveway.
Neighbors have expressed their shock, with some highlighting the couple’s known love for animals in a lighter vein before the allegations came to light.
The couple’s children have since been placed with relatives as the investigation continues, revealing the unsettling and unusual nature of the crimes involved.
Lieutenant Ken Washington of the Montgomery County Constables reflected on the rarity and disturbing nature of the case, underscoring the continuous capacity of criminal investigations to uncover shocking details.
