The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 34, donned a translucent blue dress by Italian designer Gucci for the event in New York. As she signed autographs outside the BMCC Theatre, a gust of wind lifted her dress, revealing her high-waisted lace underwear, exemplifying the enduring sheer trend on Hollywood red carpets.
Johnson complemented her look with straight hair, natural makeup, and black strappy stilettos. In Daddio, she stars as Girlie, a woman who engages in a profound conversation with a cab driver, played by Sean Penn, during a ride from JFK International Airport to Manhattan. The film, which Johnson also co-produced, is set for release in the US on June 28.
Despite not being seen together recently, Johnson is reportedly still “going strong” with her long-term boyfriend, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who is currently touring Europe. Rumors of their engagement persist, though the couple has not confirmed them. Johnson and Martin have been together since 2017.
