With a slated release date of July 2, 2025, this directorial vacancy now emerges as one of the most sought-after opportunities in Hollywood.

Notably, the studio recently enlisted David Koepp, known for his contributions to the franchise’s inception with the first two Jurassic Park films, to craft the screenplay.

Set to explore uncharted territories within the Jurassic era, the forthcoming film will usher in a fresh narrative landscape.

Absent from this chapter are expected returns from Jurassic World leads Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, as well as original trilogy stalwarts Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill.

Executive produced by Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment, the project will see Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley at the helm of production.

Despite the absence of key franchise players, the Jurassic series has consistently commanded box office success, grossing over $6 billion worldwide across six installments.

The most recent entry, 2022’s Jurassic World: Dominion, raked in an impressive $1 billion in global ticket sales.
