Kate Hudson Submerges in an Icy Bath, Flaunting a Swimsuit with a Dramatic V-Neckline
Kate Hudson and her best friend Angi Fletcher celebrated International Women’s Day in a unique and refreshing way that caught the attention of social media.
The actress shared a slow-motion video on her Instagram, which showed the duo emerging from an ice bath after their chilly dip, but it was not just any ice bath.
The ice soak was part of a challenge in which participants submerge themselves in a tub of ice water to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
Hudson and Fletcher joined the challenge and decided to take the plunge together in support of the cause. For the challenge, Hudson donned a black one-piece halter swimsuit with a plunging V-neckline that showcased her toned physique, while Fletcher wore a black two-piece string bikini.
The video showed the girls climbing out of the basin with an inspiring message scrawled across the screen. “How you love. How you nurture. How you laugh.
How you hold space. How you inspire,” it read. “How you take the plunge together! Gets us through it all.” The video ended with a black screen stating, “Happy International Women’s Day to all the women in my life; you are all so special.”

While Hudson has been making waves during the award season for her film “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” where she wore a bubblegum-pink fringe crop top and matching skirt from Prabal Gurung at the HCA Film Awards, she took a break from haute couture and Fabletics (of which she is a part-owner) for the ice bath challenge. Hudson has always been vocal about her passion for fitness and wellness, and the ice bath challenge was just another way for her to push herself physically and mentally while supporting a great cause.
The actress also took the opportunity to thank all the women in her life on this special day, reminding us of the importance of female friendships and the need to support and uplift each other. Her video captured the attention of many on social media, with fans and fellow celebrities applauding her for taking the plunge and supporting mental health.
The movie “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” in which Hudson stars alongside Janelle Monáe and Madelyn Cline, has been receiving critical acclaim and has been nominated for several awards, including Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2023 Oscars.
Hudson and her cast mates have been making memorable appearances on the red carpet throughout the award season, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us at the Oscars. But for now, we are grateful to see Hudson using her platform to raise awareness for mental health and support women on International Women’s Day.
