Dolly Parton Extends Congratulations to Beyoncé for Billboard Country Chart Achievement

Dolly Parton, the iconic country legend and Rock Hall inductee, is among the millions eagerly anticipating Beyoncé’s upcoming album, Renaissance Act II.
As it turns out, Parton is a proud member of the BeyHive and is thrilled with Beyoncé’s recent accomplishments on the charts.
This week, Beyoncé made a remarkable debut on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart (dated Feb. 24) with her first two entries: “Texas Hold ‘Em” at No. 1 and “16 Carriages” at No. 9. With “Texas Hold ‘Em,” she achieved the historic feat of becoming the first Black woman, or female known to be biracial, to top the Hot Country Songs tally.
But Beyoncé’s record-breaking achievements don’t stop there. She also made history as the first woman to lead both the Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts since their inception in 1958.
Parton, not one to overlook such milestones, took to social media to express her admiration for Beyoncé’s accomplishments. “I’m a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she’s done a country album,” Parton wrote. “So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single. Can’t wait to hear the full album!”
The eagerly anticipated album, Renaissance Act II, is set to be released on March 29th. This will mark Beyoncé’s eighth studio album and is expected to continue her streak of No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 chart, as all seven of her previous albums have achieved this feat.
As “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” make waves on the charts, including starting at Nos. 2 and 38 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, Beyoncé’s dominance is undeniable.
With her consistent success across multiple genres and markets, Beyoncé’s influence remains as strong as ever.
