Taking to Instagram stories, the singer, with a clearly affected voice, attributed the cancellation to battling an illness, stating, “I’m sure you can tell from the sound of things that I am not going to be able to make it to the show on Friday, which I’m gutted about.”

Despite being in London all week and initially hoping to perform at the Roundhouse, Timberlake explained that his health had taken a downturn despite efforts to push through. He shared, “This morning I woke up just feeling worse than ever.”

While expressing his remorse, Timberlake hinted at a potential future performance to make up for the cancellation.

However, he emphasized his current state of health, stating, “All I can say is maybe next time when we come into town, I’ll be able to make it up to you.”

Amid the disappointment, Timberlake shared some uplifting news by revealing rescheduled tour dates for Europe and the UK in July, August, and September as part of his global “Forget Tomorrow” tour.

Notably, the tour includes a stop at London’s O2 on Aug. 11, with tickets set to go on sale on Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m. local time.

Timberlake’s upcoming tour coincides with the release of his sixth studio album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” slated for March 15 via RCA.

With two singles already released, including “Selfish” and “Drown,” anticipation for the tour and album continues to build. The “Forget Tomorrow World Tour” is set to kick off on April 29 in Vancouver, Canada.
