Chinese state media have reported a knife attack with potential fatalities at a hospital in the country’s southwest.
The official Xinhua News Agency stated that there were more than 10 casualties in what it described as a “vicious assault” on Tuesday in Yunnan province.
An online post from Guizhou province television, citing unnamed authorities, mentioned that two individuals had died and 23 people were injured.
According to the Guizhou TV post, a suspect has been apprehended. The attack occurred at Zhenxiong County People’s Hospital in Zhaotong city.
