Kylie Jenner Talks About Her Evolving Looks in Recent Interview
Bollywoodfever, March 8: In a recent interview with the New York Times, Kylie Jenner opened up about the transformation in her appearance.Â
Observers have frequently noted a distinct shift in Kylie’s look over the last year, moving away from her previous signature heavily bronzed and glam makeup aesthetic.
Her current style has even drawn comparisons to trends like “cottagecore,” “clean girl,” and “quiet luxury.”
Kylie shared with the Times that she’s opted for a more simplified look, saying, “I’m scaling back a bit. My hair isn’t waist-length anymore, I’ve foregone lash extensions and long acrylic nails.”
Addressing the criticism she’s faced over her looks, particularly speculations about cosmetic surgery, Kylie mentioned that such comments don’t bother her anymore. “After years of feeling like my appearance wasn’t accepted, there’s nothing that could hurt me now,” she remarked.
She also reflected on how becoming a mother to two children has influenced her style, noting the challenge of reclaiming her sense of self post-pregnancy. “Getting back into shape post-baby makes you realize how much trends have evolved,” Kylie observed.
Kylie dismissed rumors linking her changing appearance to her relationship with Timothée Chalamet, preferring to keep personal matters private. “I don’t know how I feel about that,” she said. “I just don’t want to talk about personal things.”
However, Kylie did not address past accusations of cultural appropriation and Blackfishing, which have included criticism for adopting Black aesthetics as fashionable trends without acknowledging their origins or the implications of such actions.
