Lance Reddick Wife Pays Emotional Tribute To Husband
Stephanie Reddick, the wife of the late actor Lance Reddick, has taken to social media to pay tribute to her beloved husband, who died of natural causes on Friday at the age of 60. In a heartfelt message posted on Lance’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, Stephanie expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming love, support, and beautiful stories shared by fans on social media platforms over the past day.
Stephanie, who had been married to Lance since 2011, went on to express her gratitude to fans of the Destiny video games, for which Lance had voiced the role of Awoken Guardian Zavala since 2014. She thanked the thousands of players who had played in a special tribute to Lance, saying that he loved them as much as he loved the game. Stephanie also requested that donations be made to momcares.org in Baltimore, Lance’s hometown.
Many notable figures have paid tribute to Lance since his passing, including Oscar winner Halle Berry, who commented on Stephanie’s post expressing her love and prayers for Lance’s family during this difficult time. Lance Reddick was best known for his role as the Continental Hotel concierge Charon in all four John Wick films, as well as the forthcoming Ana de Armas-led spinoff Ballerina.
At the time of his passing, Lance had been doing press for the Keanu Reeves-led action franchise’s fourth and final main chapter. Reeves and John Wick filmmaker Chad Stahelski released a statement expressing their deep sadness and heartbreak over the loss of their friend and colleague, dedicating the film to Lance’s loving memory.
Lance was also known for his work on series like The Wire and Fringe, among countless other projects. He had several upcoming projects, including a White Men Can’t Jump reboot for Hulu, a Disney+ series adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians in which he played Zeus, Paramount Global Content Distribution’s new take on The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial for Showtime, and John Ridley’s Shirley Chisholm biopic Shirley for Netflix, in which he starred alongside Regina King.
